MPT Lukasz Ulma

Łukasz Ulma a graduate from both – Academy of Physiotherapy in Wroclaw and University School of Physical Education in Wroclaw. For a dozen or so years associated with sport. His adventure with physiotherapy began in Karte Kyokushin club where he studied abnormalities in body posture. At the same time he was a volunteer at the facility treating children with CP. Ulma was physiotherapist in Śląsk Wrocław during the Polish Championships, where he developed his skills especially in Kinesio Taping, both hard and soft, in sport. Along with the Fourth Military Clinical Hospital and the University School of Physical Education in Wroclaw was one of the front-running contributors of research on the impact of Nordic Walking training in the rehabilitation of people with heart failure, which was the first such study in Europe. Soon on this basis, he created a master’s thesis, which was the beginning for many studies in this field. In addition, he is a lecturer at the Academy of Physiotherapy in Wroclaw.

Daily work and holistic way of treatment allows him acquire the expertise and experience so needed in PT’s work. Łukasz Ulma is guided by the principle – „ I treat the patient; not his medical check-ups” and it works perfectly for him from the very first. PhD Lukasz Szuba

Dr Łukasz Szuba
Łukasz Szuba is a graduate from – Academy of Physiotherapy in Wroclaw.

Since 2008 he runs his own physical therapy practice and since 2009 he provides services at the Center for Rehabilitation and Medical Education at the Academy of Physiotherapy in Wroclaw. From the very beginning, associated with physiotherapy in orthopedics and traumatology as well as sports medicine. Among his patients were Ektraklasa and such level players from football, volleyball, handball, basketball and athletics. He cooperates closely with the coaches of motor preparation of professional sports teams. Szuba specializes in conservative and surgical treatment of diseases and injuries especially of the shoulder joint, knee and ankle. In his work he uses manual therapy of the bone-joint system and soft tissue techniques. His kinesiotherapy is based on the diagnosis and implement correction strategies for incorrect movement pattern, and planned schemes proceedings in conservative and post-surgery treatment. For years, he trained in functional training and motor preparation (training NSCA, FMS, NCSC).

From 2015, he joined the Elite Performance Institute (Dublin, Ireland) as a lecturer with the basics of sports medicine and injury prevention in sports (MCS - Compensation Movement Screening).
Parallel to the activities of physiotherapy operates research and teaching at the Academy of Physiotherapy in Wroclaw (2010).

The main area of scientific interest is the clinical biomechanics, the functional diagnostics and their use in monitoring the progress of physiotherapy and to evaluate long-term results of treatment and physiotherapy in the musculoskeletal system dysfunctions. He is the author and co-author of 5 scientific publications in reputable journals Polish and English-speaking (including the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, Acta Bioengineering and Biomechanics, Physiotherapy Poland, Medical Tribune see). Since 2009 conducts training campaigns to increase the awareness of people about sports injuries (Created to Move, Wroclaw), specialized methods of physiotherapy (2014, Physiotherapists 24), training of the basics of sports medicine and diagnostics players at higher risk of injury (2015, Elite Performance Institute) .

dr hab. Dorota Waśko – Czopnik
One of the specialists which we cooperate is dr. Med. Dorota Waśko-Czopnik - an internal medicine specialist, gastroenterologist.
Wroclaw Medical University and the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences were the source of knowledge the doctor provides now.
A graduate of Wroclaw Medical University majoring in medicine (1997). Her professional career started in Wroclaw Clinic of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, where she continued as a lecturer. In 2002 she was awarded the international UEGW Congress, held in Geneva (Best Abstracts Award).

In 2003 she received her doctorate while her doctoral thesis was awarded by the Rector of Wroclaw Medical University. In 2004 she was awarded the individual third degree prize, awarded by the Rector of the Wroclaw Medical University for material and creative achievements in scientific research. In 2005, she achieved the degree of specialist in internal medicine. She is currently finalizing a specialization in gastroenterology. In 2007 she completed postgraduate studies at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences at the Department of Food Science Profile: Nutrition and Health to give credentials for being nutritional consultant. In 2009 she was awarded the individual I degree prize, awarded by the Rector of the Medical Academy for the important and creative achievements in scientific research. In addition, Dr. Wasko-Czopnik was awarded the third prize Dental Association for a series of works related to gastroesophageal reflux disease esophagus, and in 2009 the Prize of scientific Polish Dental Association and the Wrigley Oral Healthcare Programs in 2008 for a series of papers describing the issue biochemistry of saliva in patients suffering from gastroesophageal reflux disease. She is the author and co-author of numerous publications in medical journals, both Polish and foreign (96). For publishing she translates to polish the various positions in the field of gastroenterology. Unique to the European market "Atlas of high resolution esophageal manometry," includes chapters that Dr. Narrow- Czopnik is the author and co-author.

Jakub Chrzanowski a graduate from Wroclaw Medical University with a Master of Physical Therapy degree.

Currently, student of 5 years duration post-graduate training of osteopathic medicine in " Osteopathie Schule Deutschland". He perfected his skills on manual medicine and participated in many medical conferences for doctors and physiotherapists.
